Madera Ranchos Grass fire ignites backyard structures
Numerous reports of a grass fire in the Madera Ranchos area of Avenue 12 1/4 shortly before 2 p.m. Monday had fire crews racing to extinguish the flames before houses burned. Several backyard structures were destroyed, fire personnel reported.
