HOUGHTON In the second downtown Houghton accident in two months, a vehicle driving down Shelden Avenue crashed into a parked car Monday afternoon at about 3:30.

Martha Mason, 33, of Gaylord was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe northbound on Opal Lake Road Saturday about 9:25 a.m. when she approached Suzanne Stock, 75, of Gaylord, who was driving a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica southbound on Opal Lake Road near Lakewood Road in Otsego Lake Township.

One dead, two hurt in crash in Willard today
One person died and two others were injured tonight in a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 160 near Hughes Road in Willard, Cpl. Dean Walters of the Missouri Highway Patrol said.
